 Our Gold Panning Adventures will bring you to the best "hot-spots" on the Gold River, shown above in blue, within minutes of the village of Gold River. Placer gold is collected from a vast area and is carried by the many adjoining tributaries and is deposited into the Gold River making it the most gold-rich river on Vancouver Island. |

Please take note that our Gold Panning instructional sessions all take place on a registered mineral claim, belonging to your guide. No other panning or mineral exploration is permitted afterwards on this property. Should you wish to return to the Gold River on your own in the future, the remainder of the river is unclaimed and open to anyone to pan for gold at any location provided that you abide by the laws and regulations pertaining to mining, exploration and the waters, fisheries and environmental laws that may apply. |
